Chronology Of Nighter Venues? Is There One?

Is there any book, or has it been done on-line (on here???) that offers a chronology of northern soul all nighters. I don't have the history of many on here (and many not on here, thinking of my dear friend Garry Churm who lurks but doesn't post, the selfish *!**), but I'm losing the memory of the sequence of all-nighters that were important to me. Indeed I'm losing the memory of some nighters all together. Not so concerned about the last decade or so, thinking more of my formative years on the scene.

For me, and in wrong order after first few no doubt: Nottingham Palais, Phoenix Wirrina, St Ives, Wigan, Coalville Tiffs, Samanthas, Cleethorpes pier and winter gardens, Wakefield unity, Morcambe pier, Blackpool mecca, Clifton, Bradford (was that queens hall), Hinckley, Warrington Parr Hall, Stafford, Keele . . . . . and i know I'm going to be missing some really obvious ones, just thought of a couple of local (to me) i've missed, Mansfield Swan, Rock city, and those nighters at Chesterfield Winding Wheel that were plagued by the police and DS. I'm plagued by one at Sheffield, I can picture the floor but nothing else, and one outside Manchester that's a bit misty.

I daren't tempt my brain to consider soul nights!! Dayers might be easier though.

I'm aware this is all a bit retro, but would love to see some kind of NS nighter family tree, like most family trees it would become much more complicated in latter days, perhaps too much to make any sense of.

Just an idle intrigue Has anyhting been put down in print?

maybe if you start a thread in yesterdays asking people to add names and dates may come up with one at the end ?

Thanks Mike. Was being lazy as in too much effort to sort it myself. Was wondering if there had already been a club time line done. I find myself getting mixed up as to what nighter came when. Perhaps look back at what I can record by different memberships and stuff and then start up in yesterdays.
