hi kev, it was thought for many years not to exist, the only one ive ever seen was the one that manship auctioned a few years ago which trev hare from york won

Soul Sam also had a copy, was it the same one? He played it out, i think? at the old Lifeline niter at Sheridan's, which suprised me somewhat due to never having heard it anywhere before. And didn't realise how rare it was til then.

But Barbara Jean is by far the best version for me.

Most will know, but worth a mention that Thelma Lindsey does a great version on \Magic City!

Are there really so few known copies of this 45? unsure.gif

My copy shown in the scan in the above post came via Trevski - so I guess it was also the Manship auction copy.

Anyone else got one?

Happy to send you sound files mate as they are all quite different versions.

What a lark this collecting is - btw way I need Thelma Lindsey on Magic City on a WDJ copy if anyone can help please thumbsup.gif

Sam's had his copy for at least 15 years, remember him playing it when we were doing a local radio show in the mid 90s. Asked him then about getting hold of a copy and was told then that they were very few and far between. Never managed to acquire a copy :thumbsup: .
