Is the original label Picadilly? Have seen some for sale on Pye.

Also the price seens to wildly vary from £30 (Pye picture cover) to £125. This is over a few years but popsike suggests that it's getting cheaper.

Any ideas as i would like a copy but don't want to start a wants thread if it's out of my price range.

it came out in the uk on picadilly in 1966 worth £50/60. the pye copy you seen is german, thats worth around £30 imo. there a couple of pye copies on ebay at the moment as buy it nows but there a bit steep

this is true toad. ive seen it in boxes at over £100 but they cant shift them

also seen it on turkish pye and aussie astor

There's also a great version by Geno washington on Picadilly too, should be a tad easier to get.

Dug it out by it's on Piccadilly not Pye as I first thought, nice clean copy but seems to be some confusion over the value here.

NICE UK ISSUE COPY THERE MARK. AS OUR BIGGUN POSTED EARLIER THE GERMAN COPY, WITH PIC SLEEVE IS ON PYE. ALSO CAME OUT IN TURKEY ON PYE, THO I'VE NOT SEEN THE PIC COVER IF ANY TO THIS. ALSO HAD A NICE AUSSIE COPY WITH COMPANY BAG ON THE ASTOR LABEL

BRI PINCH...OH AND AS RULE OF THUMB, UK COPIES SEEM TO SELL FOR A BIT MORE DOSH.

Also got an Italian release on Pye.

I had the Aussie release on Astor but sent to JM for auction got about £250 for it, wish I'd kept cos I ain't seen another
