we should realize just how lucky we really are....

people just starting out on the collecting trail must hate all of us (in a nice way)

prices have never been so high....

maybe the only way is to collect "boots & pressings"

for people with limited funds.........

as the originals are so far out of reach..

weve all noticed how "boots" are now commanding stupid money..

WHERE IT WILL STOP ...WHO KNOWS ???????????????????

If funds are limited and you can't live without it, buy a cd, and then buy some cheap ORIGINAL vinyl.

There's still 1000's out there yet to have their day.

I thank you

i wonder has anyone actually ever put together a serious collection of bootlegs?

old arguments about whether should or shouldn't be played, everyone surely knows where they individually stand on that one by now, but i wouldn't mind a separate collection of some of the good old bootlegs (not goingto try and start to build one up though, certainly not at these prices!)

i definitely still have some kicking around from early days - the mel britt, the ronnie mcneir, the pink robbie lawson, several of the mirwoods - irrespective of the pensionable arguments for and against, they do have a place in the history of the northern scene and some of them are very good

in answer to your question though gashy - angel dust.
