Gene-r Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 (edited) 620 Magnetics - The Train /Where Are You ZTSC 82677/ZTSC 82678 622 Lillian Dorr - Nothing More I Can Say /Let's Have A Dance 625 Danny Moore - Somebody New /Here Comes Summer The Magnetics 45 is out-and-out doo-wop, so anyone looking to unearth another soul gem by them may be a little disppointed. Lillian Dorr's "Let's Have A Dance" is a nice Soul track which, I think, goes for around the £100 - £150 mark. The label's releases all date from 1962. Gene Edited September 16, 2005 by Gene-R

Craig W Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 Somebody new was one of the rarer Us 45s quite a few years ago with a £1500 price tag at one point if I remember correctly but boatloads have been unearthed the last few years and is an easy 45 to pick up now. I bought my mint copy off Ebay last year for $60.00.
Stateside Posted September 17, 2005 Author Posted September 17, 2005 The label was owned by Michael Barrymore. Thanks Stuart, that made me smile and it even got me thinking what other labels might have been owned by famous people. Huff Puff - Elton John Thelma - Louise Redknap Jamie - Louise Redknap Simco - Simon Cowell Kent - Peter Cook & Dudley Moore
