Guest Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 I remember being into this track in the very early 80's - can anyone tell me anything about it - Label, rarity, on CD? Thanks
Guest Posted September 25, 2003 Posted September 25, 2003 its not really that rare ,expect to pay between£5-£10,its on the inter-soul label.i think its a brilliant track myself
Mike Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 sure got a spare one...somewhere? shout if want it for a fiver and will dig out
Guest Posted September 26, 2003 Posted September 26, 2003 Thanks for th info. Glad someone else rates this. I will kepp my eyes out for a copy. It reminds me just a little of "Love factory" Eloise Laws.
Guest Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 Sandra Richardson 1974 detroit intersoul label 45. The label was owned by Ernest Kelly, who was responsible for many modern 70s 45s tiunes. Spun at the Blackpool Mecca , its a 45 rarely played these days. Maybe , its got just a little too much sophistication for the immediate dancefloor response. Its in my box for the tent session ' Fleetwood though.
Mike Posted September 30, 2003 Posted September 30, 2003 let us know how it goes down, there's loads of similar 70s tracks like that, cause "cheap as chips" many overlook or dismiss them, but when dished out they sound and go down great what else you got lined up?
Dave truscott Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 Loads of class 45s for buttons but still av to endure pour little heart out and other wishy washy 45s with no soul unforch 1
Lionelonthevinyl Posted November 9, 2019 Posted November 9, 2019 (edited) Bought this for a fiver ages ago, really like it. My mates were most surprised saying, your not into modern soul!! Always bought what I like, quality cheap record in my opinion. Kind regards...Rob This is a really old thread, but still a great record. Edited November 9, 2019 by Lionelonthevinyl
Thinksmart Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 To answer one of the questions only sixteen years later - it is on the first Jack Ashford's Just Productions CDs by Kent Records.
