Derek Pearson Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 Got this email from Haim Kenig recently and thought I'd post it up here as Mister Kilic's name has cropped up on here several times before. "Sorry to write on a negative note, but I feel I need to share this info. Haluk Kilic Stockholm, Sweden ebay ID: crane885 This is the guy who destroyed my Paypal account (and, in turn, my wife's account), and I am now convinced that he ripped me off for the 45 that I sold him as well. Several people have now told me that he is known for ripping people off in record deals. I cannot prove 100% that he received his 45 from me before he went ahead and got his money back via Paypal, but it's pretty obvious that that's the case at this point. If anybody sees or hears him playing out this 45 then I guess I can prove it 100%: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4726725705 (I re-added the scans/soundclips, the 45 is (no artist)/Maxwell - Radiation Funk/A New Star on Maxwell 130) He started the chargeback only 2 WEEKS after I shipped it, just a little suspicious, wouldn't you say? He has not replied to any of my emails for six weeks at this point. His ebay feedback is private, loaded with negatives, and thankfully he was suspended from ebay, but he may be back at some point, I don't want anybody else to get robbed by this lowlife. If it was not for the actions of this guy, I would still be taking Paypal and probably listing some stuff on eBay, so it really has been a serious problem for both myself and many of my customers. I recently appealed the dispute to Paypal, so there is a slight chance they will refund my money (I had to pay them $210.50 to avoid collections/bad credit after they made my account negative in that amount), but I am not counting on it considering how they have acted so far. Either way, look out for this guy, he seems to be a total crook!! Best wishes, Haim
Hakenig Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Many thanks for your support Derek, I appreciate the many people who have spread the word - hopefully it will save others some aggravation if we all steer clear of this guy. Best, Haim

Mark Bicknell Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Why is there no support or back-up from paypal or Ebay, i got burned by some dick head and they did nothing i even refused to pay my account for listing records but they issued me with a collections letter, i have not played Ebay since, it's a fucking joke they charge you left, right and sideways yet if something goes wrong they are not interested, Paypal is i thought a safeguard way to pay for records yet because the bloke that ripped me off had no funds in his account they were unable to refund the $80.00. People who f*** about on there should be banned for life from trading again, there have now been so many rip off's on there it sickens me, i'll never go on there again it's a fucking minefield, good luck in getting your money back but don't hold your breath. Regards - Mark Bicknell.
