No not strictly, it doesn't have the release date on it. Having said that, it must have had that A put on it for a purpose because most copies don't have it so it's probably just to identify it to those who don't know that it is the A side. I used to have quite a lot of records on Virgin and Island with these A's on them, but I bought most over the counter at record shops.
