tony_i Posted August 26, 2005 Posted August 26, 2005 I have a copy of the Odyssey LP on an Italian promo. The US versions are on Mowest, but as you can see by the label scans mine is an Italian Tamla Motown promo. Do the US versions have this same label design, or are they the standard Mowest label? Is mine worth any more than the US version? Thanks in advance for any info. Cheers. Tony.

Tony. link I think from memory it's the standard Mowest design (mark.b or Johnny/Ali Trout will confirm), I've only ever seen the White Demo - was it ever issued?? Stand out tracks are Battened Ships & Our Lives Are Shaped By What We Love. Good Arras mate

Good Arras mate link Unfortunately the rest of the album's pretty crap. Has to be worth buying for the LP-only Battened Ships, though. Storming tune. The 'Our Lives' 45 crops up now and then on ebay. About £40?

I think I paid about £40 for mine not too long ago.

The UK album details would be good too - matrix number etc. Any info gratefully received. Jo Edited August 26, 2005 by vinylvixen

tony_i Posted August 26, 2005 Author Posted August 26, 2005 Featuring Diane Keaton, in the wooly hat, before leaving to make films with Woody Allen! link Might account for some of the album's dodgier moments.
