Guest Kitchengroove Posted September 1, 2005 Posted September 1, 2005 "had a fantastic album by david porter with a crackin track on it I,m tellin you, but i reckon it got sold with a job lot, any ideas anyone, does anyone know it" The album is Gritty, Groovy & Gettin it" Enterprise UK stax 1970 an early album for me that was very influential on my music taste in the early seventies, produced by Isaac Hayes and very similar in style to his Hot Buttered Soul output, great deep track, "Can't see you when I want to" this was the second time he had recorded this track. His version of Clydie Kings "one part, two part" is a fair mover. My inclusion would be the Frank Wilson produced "Lenny Williams - Choosing You"
