Do not sell your collection - your squeeze should be able to tolerate a few records piled up in a corner somewhere without too much trouble.

Apparently we have to make our wedding and honeymoon, one to remember! I don't think she realises I want to remember my teenage life, and travelling all over the country to clubs like Wigan, Rotherham, Manchester Ritz, Cleethorps, and that!

You've 'been told' the records must go? Who are you marrying, your mother? :(

I'd laugh at that if my mother didn't die when I was a child. Bast*rd.

Look, I'm selling my records right, if you don't like it don't buy em!

It'll certainly be one to remember, but sadly, I fear for the wrong reasons.

I'm lucky enough to be married to someone who sees my love of rare soul as an integral part of who I am, and not as a box of records that is there to pay for transient 'luxuries'.

Having the money will be no substitute for not having the records and the memories.

Still, your choice. Good Luck.
