Guest Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Hey All, I'm new to this Forum and am desperately in need of assistance from you all in my search for a song title. I first heard this song in the late 70's and believe it has motown origons. I always thought it to be The Temptations or The Commodores but after countless searches through Lyric Sites, Song searches, posting questions there, etc. I'm beginning to wonder if it was either of the two groups or another. It was definately a boy band & I still believe of African/American persuasion. Anyhow, the song goes something like this: Wanna change the rising sun Counting call one by one Living alone it's no fun When it's only done by one And you........ More than anything else in this world I need you To brighten my day, to chase away The hurt and pain, you left me when you said goodbye... Listen to me baby TIME..... Passes oh so slow Got no where to go (See only pictures at the picture show) No nothing means a single moment Without you..... More than anything else in this world I need you To brighten my day, to chase away The hurt and pain, you left me when you said goodbye... And so on. As you can see, I kinda remember a fair bit of it as it meant a lot to me at the time when I was goin' thru' some stuff. If anyone knows the title/artist, pleaase....tell me. I've been hangin' out for about 10 years to find this song, more so recently. Thanks for any help Micky
