Pete S Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) Not in the price guide, possibly one on popsike but the label is so trashed it's hard to tell, and I've never seen one before; but today I got one in the post and it sure looks real to me. Has anyone else got this on white demo? If so, any idea of value? Edited January 14, 2011 by Pete S

Pete S Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 Yes Pete - had it about 4/5 years ago - Carl Willingham had it off me Cheers Mick You don't think it might have just been the very pale blue and it's somehow got washed out Mick?
Benji Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 You don't think it might have just been the very pale blue and it's somehow got washed out Mick? You might be right, but if it was washed out wouldn't the black print also been affected?
Pete S Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 You might be right, but if it was washed out wouldn't the black print also been affected? Probably not as the black would have been printed on top of the pale blue base colour I think? There is a very faint trace of blue on the b side, more like a fountain pen ink smudge, but I think this was a blue one, I really do.
Dave Moore Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Ian Gee has one. I've not seen it but was told he has one. Regards, Dave PS. If there's a faint blue tint on one of the sides Pete? ....mmmmm.
Guest Dante Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Faint blue tint or not, I wouldn't class the one above as a demo. Where on the label says it is?
Colsoul Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) got 2 other white demos by the superlatives on the dynamics lable which i think are also hard to find lonley in a crowd , and wont you please be my baby ,never seen a white uptite tho, col Edited January 14, 2011 by colsoul

The white label says it is Dante, it doesn't actually have to say so as it's a given that a white one of these would be a demo as there are no white stock copies. Loads of labels with white demos don't actually announce that they are promos as such. Edited January 14, 2011 by Pete S

Mick Holdsworth Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 You don't think it might have just been the very pale blue and it's somehow got washed out Mick? Pete When I first had it, I thought it might be, as there was staining a bit like yours on one of the sides - but there was absolutely no hint of pale blue (or pale yellow), just sharp black print on an off white label, again just like yours. Other than that - God knows! Mick

Dave Moore Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Dave, photo of B side Hi Pete, Can't really help as I've not seen one before so can't compare. B Side blemish doesn't look like usual H20 ink run/fade though eh? Like you say, maybe the remnants of wol? Really need to see another to confirm 100% eh? What's the vinyl condition like? Regards, Dave
kevinsoulman Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 SEEM TO REMEMBER VISITING A BIG HOUSE IN THE NOTTINGHAM AREA & BUYING THIS AND A FEW OTHER SOUNDS. NOTE THE A/B SIDES ARE REVERSED , ADDRESS TO MAKE IT LOOK MORE LEGIT, EVEN THE UPTITE IS OFF CENTRE, DID NOT CARE THEN. KEV
