Superlatives - I Still Love You - Uptite White Demo

Not in the price guide, possibly one on popsike but the label is so trashed it's hard to tell, and I've never seen one before; but today I got one in the post and it sure looks real to me. Has anyone else got this on white demo? If so, any idea of value?

Yes Pete - had it about 4/5 years ago - Carl Willingham had it off me

Cheers

You might be right, but if it was washed out wouldn't the black print also been affected?

Probably not as the black would have been printed on top of the pale blue base colour I think?

There is a very faint trace of blue on the b side, more like a fountain pen ink smudge, but I think this was a blue one, I really do.

Faint blue tint or not, I wouldn't class the one above as a demo. Where on the label says it is?

The white label says it is Dante, it doesn't actually have to say so as it's a given that a white one of these would be a demo as there are no white stock copies. Loads of labels with white demos don't actually announce that they are promos as such.

You don't think it might have just been the very pale blue and it's somehow got washed out Mick?

Pete

When I first had it, I thought it might be, as there was staining a bit like yours on one of the sides - but there was absolutely no hint of pale blue (or pale yellow), just sharp black print on an off white label, again just like yours.

Other than that - God knows!

Hi Pete,

Can't really help as I've not seen one before so can't compare. B Side blemish doesn't look like usual H20 ink run/fade though eh? Like you say, maybe the remnants of wol? Really need to see another to confirm 100% eh? What's the vinyl condition like?

Regards,

Dave
