Pomonkey Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 After buying a JTParker off a Moerer auction last year did wonder if he'd start listing more copies but his buyer was at a record fair here and said that was all they had, how many of these does it seem to have topped off at altogether, not many....

Likewise Micheal, Glad i picked mine up when i did. I was slightly concerned when moerer started listing a few and I know one went through on manships for around 550ukp but i've not seen one since.... Great tune!
Mace Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Likewise Micheal, Glad i picked mine up when i did. I was slightly concerned when moerer started listing a few and I know one went through on manships for around 550ukp but i've not seen one since.... Great tune! My second copy of this was listed at about 2am GMT midweek on ebay for a starting bid of $9.99. I emailed the seller (not CM) asking how much to buy it and he said he'd have to ask for $160 as he had seen it listed on Craig Moerers site the week before for $150 (which was trus cus I'd also seen and just missed out on) Never paid some-one so fast Moerer had also sold a few for $150 on ebay before it was uncovered. Full credit to Andy Dyson for this one.....still recall him playing it as a c/u at Bidds about 3 years ago.
Guest CaptainVic Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 oooh, this is awesome, never heard it before - great 45.
Marc Forrest Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Full credit to Andy Dyson for this one.....still recall him playing it as a c/u at Bidds about 3 years ago. and at the HipCity...as did Tim Brown the same year.

Marc Forrest Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 this the old "coffee" cover up thingie? yes "bring me my coffe in the morning"
Mace Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 and at the HipCity...as did Tim Brown the same year. Think Tim Brown had Andy D's 2nd copy...though that might have been Flanny.
Mace Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) Bruce Cloud - I Wish Sorry to make you sad Kristian, but to add insult to injury this is probably 10 times rarer than J T Parker. Saus's old Gene Toones 'How happy I'd be' cover up. Co-incidentally I traded my 2nd copy of J T Parker for this + a wedge of cash (in my favour). Cheers Des P.S. the clip of this featured on a 3 track mix on Youtube is the wrong track, pretty sure Chalky posted it up in Refosoul under 'Gene Toones' 'How happy I'd be' Edited January 14, 2011 by Mace

George G Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 I have a M- Lenny McDaniel - but it would take a big trade to get it out of me....no $ offers. If you can't get one elsewhere and must have it, hit me up in a week or so. - George
