Tami Lynn, You My Love. Ive aways liked this record, the last time I heard it out was by Rob Smith at Lifeline,I thanked Rob, for playing it,I said you never hear it played very much,Mick Smith used to play it at Keele.

Iam I right thinking it was Keb, who played it first at Stafford?

Any Info on the record?

Kev.

I understand first played off an US acetate by Guy H or Keb?

It was an Atlantic acetate I believe.

Yes - one of Keb's spins from 1986. The acetate was a double-sider with "At The Party" on the flip. Only the acetate credits the track as "You My Love", but the French EP calls it "Run Away".

Great tune.

To play it out you have to really whack the system up as its recorded way too low.

Shame as it sounds great out LOUD

The acetate is way louder than the EP version.

The ATLANTIC STUDIO DISC 7'' is a lot stronger production especially the drum and guitar . I recently took the disc to John Manship along with the DEON JACKSON Atlantic disc so that he could put them on the rarest of the rare section .You can tell the TAMI LYNN is better just by listening on there .
