A pass on from email from Chris Anderton

Hi All,

Well, Just back from Cleethorpes and i`m sure you`ll all agree this

weekend was up to its usual high standard. It was great to meet some of you

and put a face to a name at last!

I`ve just got back from the US and have found some new stock for my

lists. Anyone who thinks that stuff is just lying around in record stores

better think again, we`re digging deeper everytime we go but fortunatly

still coming up with the goods, this 11 day trip saw us driving 4500 miles

from Boston to North Carolina, Chicago, Detroit and Pitsburgh and just about

everywhere in between!

The very popular Sales CD will be done by subscription in the future and

will start from the next list, list 11. Many of you have commented on how

useful the Cds have been for getting to hear and buy new tunes you have`nt

heard before. I`ve tried to keep the cost of the Cds to a minimum, just to

cover my costs, each CD will feature at least 50 tracks from the list

(marked ***)and at just £5 for 3 Cds I make that around 3p per record! In

future the Cds will be mailed out just before the list is posted, giving CD

subscribers first choice of any tracks featured on the CD.If you want this

lists Cd the cost will be £1.50 to the usual address.I`m also looking to

source a quantity of blank Cds so I can produce the Cds even cheaper, the

saving will of course be passed on to you. Please mail me for any further

info on the CDs.

Gig-wise, Dont forget the ever excellent Modern sessions at the Bass

Museum, the next one is billed as the Mid-summer ball and takes place on

Saturday July 3rd from 4pm til 12.00. I`ll be spinning at the West End Club

in Wolverhampton on Friday July 16th and also at 2 events in Hamburg,

Germany on the weekend of June 25th, really looking forward to that one,

just hope we dont get them in the Euro championships whilst I`m out there!

Just a word on grading, I always try to grade every record as fairly as

possible so if you are unsatisfied with any record for any reason please

return it for a full refund, its impossible to play every record I get in

but you must be 100% satisfied with any record you buy.

Please reserve all records by email first to chris.soul@btinternet.com ,

if you have to phone me please feel free to do so but I do have a "proper"

job and it may take some time to get back to you.

Just a reminder that when you send for a record please include the

details of which records you have ordered and your full mailing address.

Hope you find something of interest.......
