I really enjoy your scans on here, Like this set, so intersting to see the variations. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'll try to contribute a few over the break, not got a scanner and left camera at friends.

Guest Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 (edited) CAMEO - PARKWAY & Subsidiaries >>> CAMEO <<< >>> PARKWAY <<< Once again roger , a very good choice . One of my all - time favourite records is The Tymes " So Much In Love " ( Parway # 871 ) Interesting fact about the record is that it saw release twice , due to a change to the title of the song from " So In Love " to " So Much In Love " . The lyrics of the song mention the phrase " So In Love " several times , and do not contain the word " much " - for example " As we stroll along together , Holding hands walking all alone , So in love are we two " , so why the title was changed afterwards is a mystery . Dean Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Early 2 side favourite of mine. Had the promo for donkey's years, must have been one of the first records I ever bought. Cu Ma La Be-Stay remains a favourite to this day.
Dean Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 See the promo posted above. Another early sound, imagine this would be a youth club tune for many of a similar age to me (27)
Dean Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Cheap but beautiful Eddie Holman - Stay Mine By the way, saw Eddie's My Name above. Is this typically a tune that's easy to locate but hard to get a clean copy? I know mine's grubby, don't recall seeing too many promo's either.
Dean Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Another good double sider oldie. Jimmy Jones - Don't You Just Know It b/w Dynamite. Lost in memory these days but both sides have been played out.

Guest Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 ================================================================================================================== I always think the Bunny Sigler tune is somewhat unappreciated and underplayed. Before "Girl Don't make Me Wait" came out on the UK London label in the mid 70's, it was a monster sound at Wigan Casino Allnighters. Around that time it was only available on its original label and was regarded by many as a 60's newie! It's a shame that since that UK release it has never regained it's fomer prominence!
Anoraks Corner Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Here's one of my fave tunes from the Stafford era that still doesn't break the bank! Also came out on Cameo, but here are the local labels with and without the distribution credits. The vocals are gutsy and the organ work soooooo sharp...love it...DJs should reactivate this old 'Otis Pollard' c/up!
dthedrug Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 HI ALL, JUST LOOKING BACK, ATTHECAMEO PARKWAY LABEL. AND ALTHOUGH COLECTING NON-UK or US RECORDS IS A MINEFIELD OF HARD WORK, I RECKON THAT THIS ONE IS OK, ASITWON'T COST AN ARM OR A LEG TO GET, IT'S SWEEDISH, VALUE £20.
