Sorry Steve to correct you, but I played this at The Legion and at The Band Club. (circa 74-76) Also Andy Riding give it a few spins as well. BTW I did have a few for sale as well, about £2 each.

Kev Mac may be an old toss-pot but he did come up with a few good records!

I think Richard Searling will always be thankful that he sold The Jades "I'm Where It's At" to him and not Ian Levine. You might be right about it not being played at all-nighters before The 100 Club in the 80s.

Introduced to me many many moons ago on a Kent compliation. The production on this record is incredible and i couldn't believe my ears when i heard the guitar in the mix on the original pressing (didn't seem as prominent on the Kent comp.). Would love to hear an alternate version. 1

Bought the album simply out of curiosity about the Two People track and have to say, doesn't sound like an alt take to me. More like one of those 'fake stereo' mixes you can find on many french compilations from the 1960s. I'd be a bit disappointed if it wasn't for the stand out deep soul tracks on side 2

Just with added fake stereo. Does that qualify for calling it a different mix? The Kent LP take doesn't have that guitar miaow* from what I remember... * hope it makes sense but I don't know how to describe it....
