Must be original on Polydor (Sweden) and in EX condition - Cash waiting.

its actually called down in the subway...only found a reissue so far but still looking

The original record is called Down the Subway

It is called "Down In The Subway" on the original UK Polydor LP.

It is mis-spelled "Down The Subway" on the swedish Polydor 45. That kind of stuff happened all the time here in Scandinavia during the 60s. How about "(I Can Get No) Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones on danish Decca... :(:lol:

thanks for the info however the reissue i found for sale is definately listed as down in the subway

Can't argue with that Mouldie. Actually I don't mind it - probably because it was the first version I heard back in 1984.

Apparently they wrote it too according the credits - despite Jack Hammer's being about 16 years earlier...
