Have just had a phone call asking if i can put a song on a cd for the funeral I have thousands of soundfiles but don't have this particular one ,however i said leave it with me cos some kind person on here will be able to help So if anyone has a good quality soundfile of FOUNDATIONS-BUILD ME UP BUTTERCUP can you please send it to me via email I know its not site policy but exceptional circumstances i think . my addy is nev.griff1@ntlworld.com appreciated and thanks Nev

Check with the Vicar if it's OK on a copied disc. I've had more than one occasion where music supplied for weddings, funerals etc had to be on a legit release. (PRS and all that). Steve

All I'm saying is that some places do it by the book and don't play copied discs. Not so long ago my sister in law asked me for Luther Vandross "Dance with my father" for a funeral and the Vicar sent her away to get a legit copy when she gave him the copied disc. It's not me that makes the rules so don't come back at me like that. It's just a word of warning of what could happen.

You didn't say the Compilation CD was one you were going to copy or an orig. How was I to know but me offering that simple warning should have sufficed. Leniency simply wouldn't happen as far as the Vicars point of view goes. It's another working day for him at the office and if he is of the type who follows the book (ie: the rule book and not the chuffin' Bible-which I'm sure he does) my advice would have come in very handy. Sometimes you can't say anything on here without it being dissected by .... well let's leave it at that shall we and consider it done!
