Soulfulswifty Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I have 9 brand new in the original plastic bags they came in wigan casino badges I puchased for £2 each in 1981 at the casino, how much do you think they are worth and does anyone else have any? I used to buy two of each one for my bag and one to keep!
Ian Parker Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 i sold 6 of mine in a job lot a couple of yrs ago, got £140 for them !. the M's patch will command the most from that little lot. if you sell, make sure they go seperate, you'll get more that way

I WAS UNDER THE IMPESSION THAT THE ANIVERSARY BADGES WERE ONLY GIVEN OUT ON THAT NIGHT. I ATTENDED EVERY ANIVERSARY NIGHT THE CASINO HAD. i NEVER GOT A 5th BADGE EVEN THOUGH I HAD A TICKET, THE EXCUSE WAS THAT THEY HAD ALL BEEN DISHED OUT. 1st ANIVERSARY SNEAKED IN UNDER THE STAGE WTH THE INFAMOUS SLUDGE FROM STOKE SO CAN'T EXPECT A BADGE WHEN OBTAINING FREE ENTRANCE. IT'S 30 YEARS AGO NOW SO CAN ANYBODY ENLITEN US MORE.
Guest proudlove Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I'm not trying to be arguamentative,or contraversial, but why?...............................Why do badges have any value?.............I have never understood the reason. Can someone explain, or is it connected to the vests, bags and baggies,(and no ,that is not a snipe). Steve

Alan Walls Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I think maybe they all had them but it was hard to see, I didn't realise it was a picture of someone for months I found what's left of my old niter bag last night and as soon as I saw the patch I remembered thinking at the time the white bit in the middle of the heart was a loose thread which I shouldn't touch in case the whole thing unravelled!
