I have 9 brand new in the original plastic bags they came in wigan casino badges I puchased for £2 each in 1981 at the casino, how much do you think they are worth and does anyone else have any? I used to buy two of each one for my bag and one to keep!

i sold 6 of mine in a job lot a couple of yrs ago, got £140 for them !. the M's patch will command the most from that little lot. if you sell, make sure they go seperate, you'll get more that way

JUST A THOUGHT BUT I SEE THE 7th ANIVERSARY BADGE IS IN INCLUDED WHICH WAS 1980. I WAS UNDER THE IMPESSION THAT THE ANIVERSARY BADGES WERE ONLY GIVEN OUT ON THAT NIGHT. I ATTENDED EVERY ANIVERSARY NIGHT THE CASINO HAD. i NEVER GOT A 5th BADGE EVEN THOUGH I HAD A TICKET, THE EXCUSE WAS THAT THEY HAD ALL BEEN DISHED OUT. 1st ANIVERSARY SNEAKED IN UNDER THE STAGE WTH THE INFAMOUS SLUDGE FROM STOKE SO CAN'T EXPECT A BADGE WHEN OBTAINING FREE ENTRANCE. IT'S 30 YEARS AGO NOW SO CAN ANYBODY ENLITEN US MORE.

I'm not trying to be arguamentative,or contraversial, but why?...............................Why do badges have any value?.............I have never understood the reason.

Can someone explain, or is it connected to the vests, bags and baggies,(and no ,that is not a snipe).

There are a few collector's of Wigan Casino memorabillia, but they don't go to Soul night's,

With most collectables, if someone really want's something, they are prepared to pay a high price.........................just look at some of the rare original vinyl :hatsoff2:

After many years i looked out my Northern soul records ( lost most off them along the way ), anyway the thing is i found an old Heart Of Soul Badge (it has an image of a singer in the middle) ,I have tried to find it on the net but with no luck, i bought it around 1975 with a few others but like my records they seemed to have vanished, any info on it would be appreciated

I think maybe they all had them but it was hard to see, I didn't realise it was a picture of someone for months

I found what's left of my old niter bag last night and as soon as I saw the patch I remembered thinking at the time the white bit in the middle of the heart was a loose thread which I shouldn't touch in case the whole thing unravelled!
