Stuart Russell Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Hello all, We're offering Soul Source folk a festive discount on Keith Rylatt's Groovesville USA book. Up until the last posting day before Christmas (Tuesday 21st December) we'll send out all orders post free. When you checkout enter the code SS2112 in the discount coupon box and the postage will be free on your order. Please note this offer applies only to UK customers. And if you haven't done so yet check out Keith's blog at www.groovesvilleusa.com/blog Cheers Stuart
Stuart Russell Posted November 30, 2010 Author Posted November 30, 2010 A quick update on the above, once you've entered the discount code, it will tell you that this has been applied to your order. However you still have to select a shipping option which will be deducted at the next stage. Teach me not to check it out before hand! Sorry Stuart
Cobbles Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 hi , looks a nice xmas pressie....just one question...why is it more expensive to buy the book + cd £39.95 than buy them seperately £27.50 + £10 ??? thanks franc
Stuart Russell Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 hi , looks a nice xmas pressie....just one question...why is it more expensive to buy the book + cd £39.95 than buy them seperately £27.50 + £10 ??? thanks franc Hi Franc, The system assumes that if you were to buy the two items separately then they would both need shipping costs added, which would make it more expensive. Hope that explains it! Cheers Stuart
Guest stevemcmahon Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 ..just to add to Stuart's instructions; you must be logged in to the site in order to apply a Voucher. You then apply the Voucher in 'Basket View' & should see an acceptance/confirmation message. You then have to select a 'Shipping Method' in order for the system to apply the discount. At the next stage, you will need to declare a 'Payment Method' & click 'Agree to Terms & Conditions'. It is only after this final stage that you will then be able to see your discount applied. At this point you click to 'Confirm' your order & will be re-directed to a either an external 'PayPal' page or 'Cheque Payment' details page. Hope this helps to make it clear. Apologies for any confusion but this is the way our Shopping Cart works. Steve.
Craig W Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Hi I have registered an account and logged in , gone into cart put in the discount coupon and get this message in a red box. "Error: Coupon is either invalid, expired, reached it's usage limit or log in is required!" Any ideas?
Guest stevemcmahon Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 (edited) Hi I have registered an account and logged in , gone into cart put in the discount coupon and get this message in a red box. "Error: Coupon is either invalid, expired, reached it's usage limit or log in is required!" Any ideas? Hi Craig, Were you logged in? If yes, maybe because the Vouchers are issued as 1 use per Customer. If you have tried to apply it more than once that may be why you're receiving that error. If that's the case, you'll need to use the Contact page to apply for another. Edited December 1, 2010 by deeve
Craig W Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Hi Deeve Registered in my name and tried and got the message then registered in my wifes name and got the same message. Will use the contact button to try to sort it out. Many thanks
