21 Again Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Jeffreys was a curtain and fabrics store for some strange reason had a couple of boxes of pressings on the counter. Played football with Geof many moons ago,but never got round to asking him why they sold records in a curtain shop.

You are correct but this was after the move from the Bread Street record shop (now a hairdressers). The above shop was a haven for rarer records and they could get you almost anything (British) to order, i.e. records not in the charts, I bought many 45s here like this, it then moved to the curtain shop in Lothian Road it did indeed have a record counter which was weird!
