Be sure to hit the video clip on the link. https://www.crosleyra...t.aspx?pid=1869 Not quite the build of a Sound Burger - the tone arm and headshell/needle from audio-technica were top notch.. But the ability to transmit the sound via an FM channel is a top idea and obviously the conversion feature. Nice little bit of kit and alot cheaper than grabbing an original Sound Burger in good nick.. If you want something a bit different to play your vinyl, check this out: Edited November 22, 2010 by ClearVinyl

Reg Scott Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Is that legal in the UK? It's been common practice for a few years with ipod add-ons.. However, you're right Paul in that it's legality, i.e. transmitting over an FM channel without a license in the UK, is a bit of a grey area. I suppose it's the nature of the transmission that would be judged. If it's for personal home use, as would 'normally' be the case, then it may well be permissible - but if it was used to broadcast publicly there may be licensing issues.
Cunnie Posted November 22, 2010 Author Posted November 22, 2010 Anyone flogging it over here? Urban outfitters. Where I saw it in their Birmingham branch at the weekend. Bloody expensive though IMO at £165. https://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk/turntable-revolution-ivory-uk/invt/5560435981000/&bklist=icat,5,shop,home,housecollections,homecatalogue
Denbo Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Urban outfitters. Where I saw it in their Birmingham branch at the weekend. Bloody expensive though IMO at £165. https://www.urbanoutf...s,homecatalogue I offered a review based on the one I purchased whilst in America last month direct from the manufacturer but so far Urban Outfitters have not posted it up. My review might have helped their sales as it was more than positive. Oh well, their loss I guess.

Regards - Mark Bicknell. My pal and I thought about that whilst we were at their HQ in Louisville but we don't have the funds to do it so we gave up on the idea almost immediately. But good luck to you Mark, hope it works out for you. PS - Have you heard from Kevin yet on his middle eastern walkabout with Guy?
Dave Rimmer Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) Cheaper HERE £132.34 including postage from the States and Customs duty. The only thing I'm not sure about is can you run these from the mains with a power adapter, or are they battery only ? Edited November 22, 2010 by Dave Rimmer
Denbo Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Dave, they can be powered from mains so when buying from abroad make sure you ask for a UK plug otherwise it'll cost you another £10 for a power adaptor.
