Rob Moss Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I thought his name DAVIS? Or has his taken up Welsh citizenship? MELVIN DAVIS. His Greatest Recordings came out in 2004 on his own ROCK MILL label.
Saxafone Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I thought his name DAVIS? Or has his taken up Welsh citizenship? No he probably hasn't Rob although he has been to Prestatyn so is an honorary Taff in my book. Your suggestion however may be closer to the truth than you think. Have a look at the link............as Michael Caine may have said, "not many people know this !" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_American Taff
Guest Brian Ellis Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) I thought his name DAVIS? Or has his taken up Welsh citizenship? MELVIN DAVIS. His Greatest Recordings came out in 2004 on his own ROCK MILL label. I bought this from you at the end of last year Rob. Fantastic CD. Does the OP have a track listing to compare? If it's pretty much the same listing as the above, not sure why it's been released? The 'not previously released tracks' would need to be very good to persuade me to buy an otherwise duplicate output. But if there are loads of tracks not on the above then it would be well worth getting. Fantastic singer Edited November 19, 2010 by Brian Ellis
Pomonkey Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 He's absolutely knockout live still, truly a legend
