AlanB Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) Hi, could anyone tell me the artist and label for a song that goes something like "There she goes again, I'm gonna stop her in her tracks". It's a male lead vocal with male backing, quite sparse, possibly a blue-eyed/ garage record. Thanks Alan Edited November 18, 2010 by AlanB
Gary Samways Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 think it might be "there she goes again" by mickie newberry, had a bit of play in the 80's

AlanB Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 That was Ray Jimenez on Columbia, but I don't think that is the record in question. It isn't Ray Jiminez, thanks. The style of the record in question - vocals and instrumentally - reminds me of True Lovers by the Four Chaps, but this one is faster, more Northern. Another clue is near the start the singer exclaims "Oh Lawdy", which would be ok in a gospel/soul record but sounds out of place on this one. Alan
