Dave Thorley Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) Hi All wwwtopdogrecords.co.uk A few months ago we had a nice warehouse find in the deep south and got a hand full of each of the following titles all stone mint. We have no just about sold out on all of them and are down to one or two copies of each, so last chance on these great titles at good prices, when there gone........... Karen Striblin – We're not too young/Just a little girl – Jaber £100 (Great 60's version of 'Too young' in simular style to the supa rare Camero's. But not just that, but also a stunning soulful midtempo Dena Barnes type flip) Electrifiying Cashmeres – What does it take – Sound Stage 7 £60 (of all the version, still one of my favourite, group harmony soul dancers don't come no better) Rickey Williams – The next time – R.W.A. £300 (indemand uptempo dancer, in the same bubbling funky style as Joseph Webster. Private press by the artists of just 500, most he gave away at concerts, these were the only ones he sent for sale, we have two left) Flame And The Lovelights – The way I want our love/why is love – Jaber £50 (aka Jackey Beaver, as good as any of his high ticket 60's tunes, killer uptempo dancer one side, stunning midtempo soul drenched stunner on the flip) Jackey Beavers Show – We're not too young to fall in love – Jaber £220 Just about sold out on this, just have a couple with a slight storage warp, does not affect paly, otherwise stone mint) Sound files for all on site ............. Also these other nice new arrivals Wille White - Love at 1st sight (Hard to find Chicago modern soul)Victones – My baby changes (Great midtempo 60's dancer)Kenny Griffin – You've become part of me (another winner from Bazar)Electrostats – I'm not gonna hurt you (Rare NOLA, group harmony)Tal Armstrong – You've got so much feeling (Modern soul classic)Triumphs – You gotta dance (Storming early 60's group dancer)Jimmy Soul Clarke - Sweet darling (Nice white demo)Karen Striblin - We're not too young/Just a little girl in love (2 killer 60's sides on one disc)Wade - I'll never love you anymore (Rare uptempo Detroit modern)Smokey Robinson & The Miracles - I care about Detroit (Slice of 60's magic)Roy Roberts - Got to have all your love (Hear it, it's Stafford all over again)Patti Austin - Are you ready for love (Crossover heaven)Mystic Five - Girl's out the way and let a lady in (Harmonies, bongos and a dancer)Marva Hicks - Looking over my shoulder (Rare UK copy)Jackie Beavers Show - We're not too young (Uptempo killer funky version)Mighty Clouds Of Joy - There's love in the world (Demo of this modern soul masterpiece)Evangelist Zephyrine b. Hill - I'm going through (Cool gospel/soul dancer)Fabulous Luckett Brothers -You need to pray (Gospel/Crossover soul rarity)Got Cha - Making love to you (Indemand mid 70's uptempo dancer)Debonaires - Hows your new love treating you (Stunning white demo)Carver High - Cool as school (Rare Chicago 80's modern/boogie 2 sider)Clear Featuring Lee Edwards - Equal love oppertunity (From the great DT label, comes another modern soul winner) Counts - Our love is gonna be stronger than ever (West coast uptempo 60's, sweet vocal stormer)Thanks for looking Dave & Malayka Edited November 15, 2010 by Dave Thorley

Corbett80 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) Rickey Andrews, great 45! As is his Mars La Tour cut. 'Next Time' is up on Rarest Of The Rare now btw...... The Jackey Beavers version of 'We're Not Too Young' has been going down well at the 100 recently too. Edited November 16, 2010 by corbett80
