My Podcasts - This Is What's Happening

Apologies for being quiet on the podcast front this week, I had hoped that last Friday's monster with those 16 unissued tracks might have done something to turn things around but sadly we got 3 donations after all that effort so I've had enough basically and this is what's going to happen.

Everyone who has donated to the podcasts fund will be part of a new group I'm going to set up on yahoo. You will receive messages telling you about the new podcasts and where to find them. You can listen to them, download them, do what you like with them. This will last for a year, after which you'll get the option to renew your membership. Anyone else who wants to get them can send £10 for a years subscription to pete.smith@freeuk.com and you'll be made part of the group. There should be two per week, every week, for a year.

If you don't want to join, absolutely no problem, if you still want to hear music I'll post links to the cloudmix podcast sessions I've been doing and you can listen online to those, but you can't download them.

This will also mean that people who have no interest in podcasts won't have to see advertisements for them anymore.

I'll keep the original 50 podcasts up on iTunes and Podcast machine for a while longer, then I'll close them down.

I just can't keep chucking £50 away every month to provide free entertainment for everyone, sorry.

Record lists may be few and far between the next few weeks as I've chucked most stuff on Ebay.

n.b. a few people sent money by post - Jaco for instance - I need your emails guys so I can join you up to the new group

absolutley totally agree with you !!

can you pm me details how to join the group and pay the massive sum of ten quid for 48 podcasts !!!!

as you know I have been putting your podcasts on my i pod all year,

We spent the first half of August in Corfu listening to the Rocksteady / Jamaican podasts by the pool !

Just brilliant when someone else does all the selecting and then there is all the suprises and "what the hells this" aswell.

I just never have the time to put my vinyl onto I POD and your podcasts have been spot on.
