OK i can't believe none of you have seen one (scan that is), wasn't there one in a mag a while back ?? despite all the asking on here !! hasn't someone already said which mag it was in ?? and a mod posting up Pauls recent activity !!! WTF !!

Chalky & Pete did know who the seller was despite saying they had no clue, ( Simon S FFS :yes: )

Paul works away and the record sold within minutes of going live with an agreement that no scan would be put up till the deal was done (well in the hands of the buyer and he was happy) as is his right and last time i checked none of yours !!!

The price Paul asked for was a fair price in his eyes compared to the price he paid for it, does he really need to sell it at twice that to prove some sort of point, he knew how rare it was as he had the only 2 copies i have ever seen :(

what can the Mods do legally to help anyone who feels they have been ripped off on here ?? any thoughts anyone !!

At least get your facts right. Pauls recent activity were NOT posted up by a mod but by Ian Sims & thought you'd been told to quit the stirring by someone who IS a mod

It's a shame we aren't going to see a scan of it. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen one. Would have been nice to confirm. To be honest this thread is symptomatic of the way SS has developed over the years. What happened to the helpful, exciting, exploratory community it (Internet), was in the beginning?

All seems to be Ebay this and JM that and what a great night was had at people's own 'dos' nowadays. No wonder some folks have stopped posting and moved on. :thumbsup:

Don't get the wrong idea about SS, still the same bunch of good northern helpful folk as ever. We were only miffed cos we couldn't see a scan. Paul sold it 2 mins after listing it and if the buyer didn't want a scan posted then furry muff as they say - mystery solved.

Get it right Ian Pete-s (mod) quoted me, I posted Paul's activity as I was miffed he was schtuming up. All is clear now, he didn't break any rules.

I don't think Nev is a twat, nor is it necessary for you to refer to him as such. He was just in the dark about it, like everybody else.

The owner of this ultra rare tower issue know's about this thread. be a sport like so many of our mates are and show us what we wanna see, there's a good lad!:yes:

I agree with what you say Nige.

I don't doubt Paul's credentials, enough reputable people have vouched for him. I think this was handled poorly, very poorly. Ian Seaman seems to be rejoicing that it's gone and no scan will be forthcoming. Scan or no scan, yeah Ebay would have been a better bet imo.

Get your facts right Ian and stop the shit stirring. I don't recall saying anywhere I didn't know who was selling. But as it happens I did not know who Randy was and the topic was signed simply Paul, now how many Paul's are there on the scene? It wasn't until Paul PM'ed me that I knew who it was.

I only asked to see the scan as I'd never seen an issue, I don't recall seeing one in Dave Moore's mag either. It wasn't just me many other people have never seen one either.

And I also remember you in the past questioning a seller on ebay cause of the lack of feedback...pot kettle and black spring to mind.

Excuse me. I did not know who the seller was. He replied to me with the name PAUL he could have Paul McCartney for all I knew! I don't the names of everyone on here, probably not half of them. I do know Paul, he's bought loads of me in the past, but I didn't know this was him.

well from where i,m sitting i WOULD give a label scan just to show off the JDM ISSUE,load of rubbish about the DJ buying doesnt want it shown!!!!!!!thats why he bought it ,cos its an ISSUE for showing off....thats its RARE....

I think it's been an interesting thread in all honesty. Bit miffed we've not seen evidence of the existance of the JDM Tower issue. However the existance is beyond doubt and the seller has worked the system well - had his hand bitten off at half price and what buyer would want a scan posted, promting "I'll give you double" pm's.. :thumbsup:

A scan will turn up one day.

Legendary rarest of the rare ISSUE copy.

All the major UK record dealers and most collectors have never seen the issue copy of this record and was only rumoured to exist.

Funnyly enough I thought Pete had a perfectly valid point, because I also paid five months earlier for a copy of the book, yet found it advertised for sale (from two sellers) before I had received my copy. So how was that more than shit stirring ?

Every time you post you make yourself look an even bigger fool, did I slag off Tim Brown, if so show me where. I complained about the fact that others had the book for sale before the people who had pre-ordered it, now which part of that is slagging anyone off, talk about clutching at straws...are you on some bizarre campaign to find a crime I can be convicted of to cover up your buffoonery on this post or something? Well it pisses me off because I've done f*ck all wrong on this post except to ask someone to supply a scan so give it a rest will you.
