Cheers Steve. Yes, it was in the Omnibus series- 'Darker than Blue' with the writer Caryl Phillips. Mixture of interviews with Curtis and other luminaries, plus archive stuff. It was a great programme, which I had on tape for a few years, but sadly no more. No idea how you could get to see it these days, short of contacting the BBC. Or, long shot, but could try Caryl Phillips' website. Link below. If you have any luck, I'd be interested to know. Would love to watch it again. Caryl Phillips

Cheers Steve. The CM Omnibus documentary surfaced on an unofficial DVD around three / four years ago . I bought a copy and after watching it , passed it on . One documentary I would like to see again / have a copy of , is the one on / about Atlantic called " Hip To The Tip " . Malc Edited November 7, 2010 by Malc Burton

Good night all round on BBC4................there's a Chuck Berry concert thrown in too. Although I personally find him a bit too R&R, he's very entertaining. Carol Edited November 7, 2010 by jobbo
Funky 4 Corners Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 So looking forward to this. I hope that Mick H is on for a short block of time rather than regular snippets then I can fastforward while he's pontificating. He soiled the Bobby Bland documentary in my unbiased view. Great stuff.....................I'll definitely be watching!!!
