OK I apologise for the Fatwa**** jibe. It was actually mean't in jest, because yes, you usually have a load of people slagging him off. I knew Russ pretty well from the pre allnighter days when we used to go to hear sounds at his market stall, and later at the allnighters and various alldayers round the country. He was always OK with me. In fact at a Burnley Rose room alldayer he even played a couple of records for me. I had asked if he had any room in his car to give me a lift nearer to my home. He couldn't, but he did ask over the mic if anyone could. he then played me two records. One by Dee Edwards, and the other by Donna King:thumbsup: . . Oh how I laughed.
