Guest in town Mikey Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I was chatting to a mate at the weekend when the Chandlers - You're Love Makes Me Lonely was played. I blurted out, this was the first record played at Stafford in 85. I know because we were at the front of the queue, and were first in. The floor was empty so I dumped my bag and made sure I was the first one to dance there that year. Shawn's reply was, you know some really, REALLY boring crap

Over the period of time when the all - nighters were run at The KGB in Sheffield , the condensation that ran down the walls ( caused by the heat from too many bodies and lack of sufficient ventilation ) , warped the wooden carpet grippers under the carpet in various places , therefore lifting it up , which meant the replacement of them . Guest Swish Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Serving breakfasts at the Junction in Crewe why did they think that would be a goer  Jez I still havbe a voucher for my breakfast at Crewe. They must have been absolutely baffled when hardly anyone wanted one. Still it was a good way to spot dings and/or the squad. They might as well have had massive neon signs on their heads saying: WE ARE SQUAD or WE ARE DINGS My mind is racing now. I wonder if the dings thought: Hey these seem like nice normal blokes enjoying a breakfast , lets have a chat with them, no one else seems to want to. And I wonder if the Squad thought: "lets pull these fuckers we cant seem to catch anyone else". At the police station it maybe went like this: SQUAD: Ok wheres the gear stashed?" DINGS: What's gear?"
