However, I did discuss it with Mr Minshull and he told me it had been played hence me adding it to my playlist. Mind you, Keith seemed to be in a world of his own on the day:D Cheers Julian
Guest Swish Posted October 29, 2010 Posted October 29, 2010 Talking to Keith abut how many times Tomangoes was played at Torch LOL. Thank yourself lucky Lulu - you only had him for 10 minutes Malc Edited October 30, 2010 by Malc Burton
Guest Swish Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Malc, apart from Archie Bell you thought you were still in the Wheel. Amazing though how the gear, the sounds, the atmosphere, the whole thing transplants you back in time like it was RIGHT NOW not 38 years ago. I think its special. VERY SPECIAL. I sincerely hope we do it every year, I really do. Even Minshull shook my hand not once but twice and I appreciated it very much and told him so ( cos to be quite frank we never really saw eye to eye). He only said one word. Looked at my Gotta have your love, Sapphires on Australian Ampar amd said "rare". Probably longest conversation we ever had.

Strangely enough Bob , Barry said a similar thing to me during our spot together . It would appear that we have created something special with The Torch Reunion , and following careful consideration and deliberation , it will be staged again next year , and the year after , and the year after . and the year after , and so on ...... until people do not want it anymore , and we are told to " get off our car park , you sad old farts " Malc Edited October 31, 2010 by Malc Burton

My son his gal, and his mate all of whom came last year and loved it came again this year. All had doubts again. "Its too dear Dad" Weve been once Can't really afford it" This year another of their mates came (actually they are all my mates as well). They all loved it. Asking me loads of questions, and whats this record whats that record etc.. I brought 8 last year and 14 this year. All loved it. I'll get more this year. It's good that a few youngsters want to come, cos they'll help carry it on as we all get older.
