A few years back I was offered a few copies of this Lp by various L.A dealers all over the $1000 mark and all where signed copies, as most of the other copies I've seen around since, which looks like it was sold by the group at their live gigs, the scan on SS is the first one that I seen that hasn't been signed. Two uptempo tracks on the Lp, only ROSE came out on 45, can't remember title of the other dancer at moment even though I've got it on a craver.

Don't think "Rose" was issued on a 45, may be have been planned but never materialized. Only 45 is "Man" b/w "Choice Of A Million Girls". Must admit i got a pretty penny for my lp, $2300 in '04. Had no clue to it's value and almost sold it for $75 prior to sticking it up on ebay.

back in the late 90s i was at big als record barn in san jose and he had a sealed copy of this in his "oldies" section for $25. to this day i cry because i asked my pal to buy it for me cause i was running out the door and didnt have enough money. later that day i go to his house with some cash and he told me he left it there. while he was choosing what records he was buying he left it behind with his passes by accident. i went down the next day and spent hours looking for it but never found. i bring it up to him often every now and then because NOW he knows what he left behind.

Yes, I bought it for 'Man' but on tracking the LP, found 'Rose' (which I didn't know anything about at the time?) and liked it much much more and started playing it at The Orwell! Got a thumbs up from the regulars and before we knew it it was on our next annivesary CD!

btw 'Rose' never came out on 45

Would be a big record if enough copies of the LP were around imho

Cheers

Steve
