Funky crossover with excellent instrumentation. Gaining inpopularity of late.

A definite tune for the future as there's more funky edged tunesbeing appreciated. Fantastic dancer withGospel style chorus vocals but how much longer at this price? Way better thanGospel Comforters imho.

BENNY GORDON – A KISS TO BUILD A DREAM ON – RCA M- (WLD) £60

Cracking funk/soul banger. A definite winner for venueswhere open minded sets can be played. Would fit into mod, soul or funk events.

SAM DEES – DON'T KEEP ME HANGING ON – LOLO VG+ £35

Hard to source mid tempo dance floor winner. Hip hop styledrums under his usual high standard vocal delivery. Like the drums the label is a bit dirty.

CHET DAVENPORT – WAR IN THE GHETTO – KING BEE EX -£40

A step too far some maybe. But a killer up tempo funk dancerthat could well take off and has been held in high regard by many funk djs foryears. A lot of record for a little cash

Funky x over with some serious bounce and power on theproduction

VG copies have been regularly fetching this on e bay. The lastexcello release which seems to be in demand. Fantastic boogie sounds great in aclub.

One of the best Gospel funk tunes out there. Label damagedlike all copies ive seen. Looks harsh like a demented cover up effort has beensuddenly aborted but easily forgiven as it's such a killer tune.

Very hard to find boogie tune from Columbia, SC. Seen on afew wants list of late. J Perlmutter spin.

Brilliant rare groove anthem. Always goes down well.
