Guest Kolla
Love it, love it, love it! Manship has Alex Brown's "I'm not Responsible" (Sundi) up on his auction list. As someone that normally steers clear of modern rooms (and the fact i'm a mere sprog by comparison to the majority) I'd never heard it before today. Does anyone "down sarf" own this and ever play it out... please.... ? Like Mikey with the Brenda Holloway track recently... I love the fact there are still so many tunes out there I haven't heard - just waiting to blow me away. Question: What was the last song to blow you away on first hearing? Guest Johnny One Trout
Great isn't it Kolla we heard her sing it Live in LA and she was absolutely fantastic the one on JM's auction is the harder issue as well ;o) Records blowing me away on first hearing still happens al the time for me difficult to say which was the last one probably "Stan Martin - Big Mouthed woman" the other weekend in Brum. Jordirip
John, Sam gave the Stan Martin a hammering at Yarmouth to a very enthusiastic response. I think we will be hearing it a fair bit at other venues that play 70's crossover and funkier end soul. Class tune and a great dancer as well. Guest Johnny One Trout
Can't say as it registered at Yarmouth Jordi. To be honest it registered at Brum because i recalled you raving about it ;o)) Very nice indeed John Link to comment Social source share
