B side of Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye isn't it? President must be the first label. Link to comment Social source share
Gene-r
I think they had a record on Ember but don't think it was the one you mention. B side of Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye isn't it? President must be the first label. Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye / I Still Love You was released on President at the end of 1966 (apparently). That's The Way / Too Good To Be True on Ember was a '67 release. So yes - I would say the President 45 was their first UK 45. I think he wanted to know if the President release was the first release for that particular track Gene. Link to comment Social source share

Dave Pinch
initially the president label issued contemporary us releases. the casino`s then you can tell me made no 6 on the us charts in march 67 and made no 28 on the uk charts in march 1967. releases like jimmy robbins ,felice taylor, johnny wyatt also came hot on the tracks of the usa counterparts. but also we know that president did later re release club sounds as well dave ps the casino`s is probably one of the commonist northern soul 45`s. but still a good record nonetheless Edited October 23, 2010 by dave pinch Link to comment Social source share
