Benji Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Was wondering if somebody can help me with this one here: I got a copy of Upsetters/Bleechers - The Vampire/Check him out on Upsetter UK 317. But flipside is misprinted and reads "the upsetter" instead of "check him out". Is this any sort of oddity or rarity? And what would be a fair price for it? Cheers Benji
suedehead1970 Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 It's odd to me as misprinting was usual back in the days. This record is common and is about 20£. Two good tunes though.
Guest chungdejah Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 ... not a misprint as such as The Upsetter (Shop) is advertised in Leo Graham's vocal. Your pairing was the first issue of the record in the UK but was changed, in first place, because The Upsetter didn't wanna come over as The Vampire, and secondly The Vampire was more hit sensitive and thus presented as A-side, then with more charming retitled Check Him Out on the B.
