Been sorting through old tapes and have been meaning to ask this before.

I had an acetate years ago and put it on a tape as a last track. Unfortunately, the tape ran out half way through. On the listing I wrote "True True Lover" / "Robert Bateman" , although I'm sure that was a "Cover Up" title.

I'm sure the acetate is out there somewhere, circa 1980/81. I hope this rings a bell with someone, and they can give me any details

I've posted a clip from my tape (Sorry its only half there.)

Uncredited - True True Lover -

Well, I had it for about 4/5 years - late 70's early 80's - It was rough but played OK, albeit a bit flat

In all that time I probably played it out 2/3 times at most. I have a vague idea I eventually sold it to either Gary Rushbrook or Guy Hennigan. - 30 years down the line I agree, I should have kept it, but at the time ...

Since Des mentioned Vidalia, it is sparking another memory - wasn't Vidalia the Production company behind "Sam Williams" etc.

Cheers

Mick
