I love Jimmy Coleman - Cloudy Days - on Revue, but this was also released on SIR RAH a bit earlier as Jim Coleman.

Can anyone tell me if they are both the same version and just leased to Revue for wider distribution or were they different cuts?

Hi John

As far as I know they are the same recording, just first local release, then national with Revue. Just found some Sir Rah white demo's, they do look rather nice. What a stunning tune in any format.

Although it's on a Detroit label, don't think it's a Detroit recording, production is credited to Willie Mitchell. Can't think of any Detroit recording that he has produced on, unless others know different.

Lee Rogers recorded some of his Detroit-label things in Memphis with Willie Mitchell.
