dthedrug Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 They did, but I think I've only had one, it was an early Buster tune something Spider & The Fly, but it had a different B side to the released version Hi All I had white copy with BLUEBEAT IN BLUE,of Busters Independence Switching and there was a Derick Morgan can't remember title, but like the BUSTER record they were very low numbers, there are 3 different AL CAPONE'S from the mid-6ts traditional BLUEBEAT, MY 1ST COPY, was blue label small writing purchased new in august 67 & a similar copy on a white label with Blue writing Very Rare, many White label FAB blanks, some have different B sides than the issue All aspects of collecting 6ts Jamaican Records on UK labels has always been a challenge, I used to have a blank that I purchase from Brixton Market with Midnight written on it it was or followed the Desmond Decker "Rude Boy Gone To Jail" never been able to locate it, and no it's not the Jackpot recording, the real answer to full story belongs with the original SOUND MEN. But the work has been left to younger collectors, can you imagine collecting HIP HOP the myriad versions that have been cut, thats the problem with all dance sounds they were made to be current and disposable? still KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK LADS:ph34r: DAVE
