i.e. No Atlantic, no Cotillion?

"Hot Billy Love"

Got plans to feature Atlantic, Cotillion, Stax Volt. Over coming weeks.

Some are so Large in Output, Regarding Atlantic Distribution, thought it best to split up into weeks.

Including Subsiduries & Distribution. ( i.e. HIB Records = ATCO)

One of my fave ATCO releases, I first played at Thorne... and had em all stroking their chinny chin chins!

Its since gone on to be a bit of a crossover monster!

Great deep flipside too, I've put on many a tape, over the years.

Another ATCO fave for me playbox at early Soul Essence weekends.

Like the above, its still going from strength to strength, I'm pleased to say.

Not the most soulful thing I've ever heard, but a crackin' little mover!

I think all the South Camp releases were distributed by ATCO. I'm assuming the same went for Quinvy, but it doesnt seem to say on the record labels

3 personal favs:

Crossroads - Coming Home To You Baby (6765), proper rousing northern vocal.

The Del-Rays - Fortue Teller (6348)

Levon And The Hawks - He Don't Love You - ATCO 6383

Some oddball stuff below that you'd be hard pressed to consider soul, but these are some really good 45s on ATCO in my opinion:

Brian Auger - Black Cat - ATCO 6611 (not issued on 45 in the UK)

Squires - Going All The Way - ATCO 6442

Mary Wells - brilliant double sider....this is the West Coat pressing...possible demo?

Kenny Gamble - fab mid-tempo...totally overlooked!

Loretta Williams - French press Atco!

Can't recall seeing the distribution deal mentioned on Quinvy labels, but here are a couple of South Camp variants:
