Raym
Not got the Issue but have a nice white demo (but not for sale). Ok, so the point of my post? I just love that opening line : "I've been lying in ditches so deep without socks or shoes on my feet..... with misiles flying over my head and sometimes lying close to the dead" Great record, first heard back in mid 80's from Derek 'Shades of Soul' Pearson. I just love the way the word "socks" comes over on the record - his great voice sounds like he sings "sucks". Anybody reading this thinks Ive gone mad - but dosnt know the record then recommend giving it a listen!! Ray Link to comment Social source share
Spook
Nice tune, first heard it played by Duncan Pollett / Johnny Beggs one of the only few records I used to cue up to miss the horns !!! David Link to comment Social source share
