NEV Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Hi all Noticed this is a double sider with Debbie Taylor on the flip Whats the reason for two artists on same disc ?? are they genuine copies and how much please?? Come on Chalky i reckon this is one for the vinyl guru himself
John Benson Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 They both recorded for GWP at that time, so I assume that may be the reason for the release? No idea on a price though, but I don't think it's a lot.
Kris Holmes Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Good common cheapie & genuinely issued as Debbie Taylor b/w The Hesitations, should run you $5 or so in the real world, probably a bit more online.
Chalky Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I played it put at Lifeline few years ago a few times, great double sider. Guess it was as John says, both on same label at the tiem and needed a flip? Didn't the Hestitations do backing for Debbie Taylor as well? Guru...I wish. Tenner should bag you a copy.
Baz Atkinson Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 think the flip side is a tremendous funky mover-her other stuff on gwp is also very good imho -dont prove them wrong is a lovely lilting soul record!! BAZ A
Anoraks Corner Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 This one is a belter too...occasional AdyC spin as well:
Dylan Posted October 3, 2010 Posted October 3, 2010 yeah, her LP is pretty strong from memory. just picked that up myself. Very good lp.
