Guest turntableterra Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 most of us have some sort of fit with the charges for postage out of the states, even then it takes 2 weeks to get there, between 10 and 20 dollars for one record, "postage and packing" get the seller to put i in a parcel and toddlin down to the post office, i think we should all complain to ebay about especially when you get what this seller offered, to say i was blown away is an understatement. must be the worlds best ebayer........................... David Clark (theodore512@hotmail.com) has issued a refund for $5.00 USD of your original payment. See Refund Details below for more information. Temporary Hold Information: A temporary hold has been placed on funds that were returned to your account because you used Instant Bank Transfer to fund the original payment. The funds from this payment cannot be released until they have arrived from your bank account, which usually takes three to four working days. Message from merchant: The postage was no where near $10 so I'm refunding you $5. Sorry - never shipped to aisia/pacific before - assumed it would be more. David T. Clark Ted's Recs
Guest Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Living in Canada, I get refunds from time to time as well. Not all eBay sellers are evil. It's the companies that really seem to gouge on international shipping. I'm trying to get some record sleeves up here, and finally relented to paying $90 shipping on a $350 order (still works out to a lot cheaper than anything we can buy in Canada). Placed the order, got an email, "Sorry our shipping calculations were incorrect. The correct amount is $150"!
