I know were joking about this Dave but its a hell of a lot just for collection filler cos thats all it could be mind you i dont think we will get any one to admit to buying it;)

Over $400, makes The Camaro's look like a steal Ted:lol:

Don't know what you lads are moaning on about - the label looks in pretty good nick to me hahaha....

At todays rate 400.00 US dollars = 260.01 British pounds sterling. Phew! How come these bidders never bid on my auctions (laughs).

Must stop trying to sell records in Ex condition. That's where I'm going wrong. Stop it derek.

Has anybody ever seen or heard of a "How" WDJ?

Have replied to your PM Ted. Sorry for delay.

Perhaps they're buying it for the equally fantastic flipside, which may be in much better condition and play better? (i cant be the only buyer to ask such questions about flips and the like, and then asked the seller not to put my question and their answer on the ebay page)

What price a minter these days 800? 1000? upwards ? if so then a quarter to a third of mint seems about right doesn't it? worth a punt if you think you can make it play better when you get your hands on it....

(I remember well the morning my copy arrived from the bowl, and despite it being unplayed being disappointed 'cause it had a tiny label tear and I think it was two quid. Glad I never sent it back :-)

No White Demo's of this only white demo's on La Beat are Al Williams and apparently I think it's james shorter as both were pressed up at RCA hence the wdj copies Atb John. :wave:yes.gif:rolleyes:

Only Al Williams and James Shorter - Modern Day Woman were issued as WDJ I believe.

Think they were pressed by Archer's, with the plates being made by "Nashville Matrix" as the La-Beat records I got all have a "nashville matrix" stamp with the scratched in number "95" Think "95" was Archer's account number with Nashville? sure I read something by Ron Murphy regarding Nashville and Archer ??
