Not in Perfect condition, However, I still remember the thrill of finding these two on Stateside in the early 70's.

The Stateside DEMO I found in a Second Hand Shop, THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

Curtis Mayfield has featured throughout my collecting over the years.

Arguably the greatest genius in the history of black music, and certainly one of my favorite artists of all time.

Here's one of my favorite Mayfield's tracks, from his solo debut:

  • curtis mayfield - miss black america -

One of my favourites, too - although with the other two Impressions as backing vocalists it's not really a CM solo record, despite being on his 'Curtis' album...

Great choice Sean! The whole Superfly LP is a masterpiece but I've always loved this track as it has one of those lines "It's a terrible thing inside, when your natural high has died". Another must have LP is The Impressions Young Mod's Forgotten Story. They are among the relatively few LP's I can play through start to finish, Ady
