Its a book and record of Lassie the dog... 24 page story book and record.. A side is Lassie and her day in the sun.. A typical story about Lassie The b side lable says... Lassie the conclusion.. And guess what plays.... Something groovy going on by Gwen Mccrae .. The 70s soul ballad from this lady of soul.... A mis- press i guess... Lable says Peter Pan records 1999.......1977 Any info on this record please.. Could it be worth the 10p paid from a charity shop or a mis-pressed treasure that he can cash in..... Over to you folks.... and it aint April fools....

It has long been rumoured within Lassie circles that this recording existed but no one really believed it. Whack it in the next issue of Canine Collectors Guide and see what happens........... Ian D

Guest TONY ROUNCE Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 (edited) It's always been rumoured to have come out first in 1965, on Kennomeat Records, with Marvin Gaye's 'I'll Be Doggone' on the flip... ...the label was, I believe, based in Barking, Essex.
